Our team anticipates solutions to problems and are intricately involved with each stage of your project. We draw from many disciplines to bring a wealth of experience to your project.

Hal L. Turner

A graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hal is the holder of an Unlimited Building License in South Carolina. Having a bidding general contractor as a principal partner offers us a perspective held by few other architectural firms.

Hal brings confirming expertise in scheduling, estimating and value engineering of our potential projects. Hal also serves as a member of the Association of General Contractors of the Carolinas, Joint Cooperative Committee which works to promote the spirit of cooperation between architects and contractors and is directly responsible for many of the “rules of the road” used to manage construction projects within South Carolina.

Dr. J. Chester Floyd

Dr. J. Chester Floyd, our Business Developer, came to work for us after retiring from 44 years in the educational field. He earned an Ed. D. Degree, Educational Administration, from the University of South Carolina, an Ed. S. Degree, Administration and Supervision, from Winthrop University, an M. Ed. Degree, School Administration and Supervision, from Georgia Southern University and a B.A. Degree, Mathematics, from Newberry College.

In the past 36 years, he has provided his services as a District Superintendent in Berkeley County School District, Lexington County School District One, and Florence County School District Five.

C. Schell Carson, AIA

C. Schell Carson, AIA, our Project Architect, is a graduate of Clemson University where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Design. Mr. Carson went on to earn his professional degree of Master of Architecture from Clemson University in 1990. Licensed to practice architecture in the State of South Carolina, he is also a member of the American Institute of Architects.

Robert D. Simkins, AIA

Robert D. Simkins, AIA, our Project Architect, is a 1984 graduate of Clemson University where he earned his Bachelor of Architecture in Design. Mr. Simkins stood for and passed the registration examination for architects in 1995 and has since been licensed to practice architecture in the State of South Carolina. He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects.
